ACG successfully completed its financial literacy talk for overseas Filipinos and foreigners in Athens, Greece.

The Asian Consulting Group (ACG) successfully concluded its financial literacy talk entitled Money Matters: A Guide to Financial Planning in Athens, Greece last July 23, 2023. The event was held in collaboration with the Department of Migrant Workers and the Philippine Embassy in Athens, and was aimed to equip overseas Filipinos and foreigners with essential knowledge on smart financial planning.

The talk commenced with an opening message from Ms. Judy Barbara Robianes, Chargé d’Affaires at the Philippine Embassy in Athens, followed by valuable insights from the Philippine Migrant Workers Office on the launching of OFW Pass.

The highlight of the briefing was the discussion by ACG’s Founding Chairman and Chief Tax Advisor, Mon Abrea, on personal financial planning and management. Abrea provided practical tips on wise budgeting and understanding one’s risk profile when considering investments. The session also covered crucial topics such as safeguarding against fraudulent schemes and an informative overview of franchising for aspiring entrepreneurs.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from overseas Filipinos and foreigners.

ACG expressed gratitude to the Department of Migrant Workers and the Philippine Embassy in Athens for their collaboration and looks forward to continuing efforts in promoting financial literacy among overseas communities.
