The Asian Consulting Group, in partnership with the Philippine Embassy Migrant Workers Office (MWO), successfully concluded its Investment and Tax Briefing in New York on July 15, 2023 as part of the OFW INFO Caravan. Led by ACG’s Founding Chairman and Chief Tax Advisor, Mon Abrea, the event focused on crucial aspects of financial literacy.
During the briefing, Abrea emphasized the significance of effective financial management and provided practical tips for better handling of finances. He discussed investment options based on individual risk profiles, empowering participants to make informed decisions.
In addition, the briefing highlighted the importance of protecting oneself from scams. Abrea shared valuable insights on identifying and avoiding fraudulent schemes, helping attendees safeguard their hard-earned money.
The event was attended by several overseas Filipinos, as well as foreigners, who all left with a deeper understanding of personal finance and the knowledge to make sound financial choices.
The Investment and Tax Briefing will continue throughout Europe, with upcoming events in Athens, Greece on July 23 and Paris, France on July 30.
