The Asian Consulting Group (ACG) is thrilled to announce the appointment of its Chief Tax Advisor Mon Abrea as Advisor to the International Tax and Investment Center (ITIC). As an Advisor, Abrea’s tax expertise will contribute in promoting tax reform and investments across developing countries. Particularly, he will be focusing on taxation of the digital economy, and the adoption and implementation of the global minimum tax in the Philippines.
This marks a significant stride in ACG’s journey to strengthen international linkages and elevate the company as a global brand of excellence in tax advisory.
ITIC is a renowned non-profit organization founded in 1993 dedicated toward driving international tax reform and economic development within developing economies. ITIC provides information on best practices in taxation and investment policy, and works with ministries of finance, customs services and tax authorities in 85 countries, as well as international and regional financial institutions engaged in tax policy and tax administration issues.

Through this newfound partnership, ITIC will be participating in the International Tax Conference in March 2024.
Aside from this, Abrea will be launching his book, “Reimagining the World Without Corruption” internationally on October 23, 2023 at the Harvard Kennedy School in cooperation with the Philippine Caucus. Joining him in this event is the former Vice President of the Philippines and Angat Pinas Chairperson, Atty. Leni Robredo, as well as former Senator of the Philippines, and KN Movement Chairperson, Sen. Bam Aquino. Harvard Board of Overseer Geraldine Acuña-Sunshine, Professor Jeeyam Baum and Myrish Antonio will also be joining him in this event.
