Asian Consulting Group’s Chief Tax Advisor, Mon Abrea, is set to make a significant homecoming as he returns to Manila from November 20 to 30, 2023. Following the success of the November Roadshow where he met and visited various embassies, Abrea is poised to make a return to his roots. The decision to refocus on Manila is driven by the strategic preparations needed for upcoming events in 2024.
Before his return, Abrea shared expert insights on taxing online sellers in interviews with ABS-CBN TV Patrol and Teleradyo Serbisyo Radyo 630. These discussions have been timely given that new tax regulations for online sellers will be imposed this December.
Abrea’s return to the Philippines is not just a homecoming but a pivotal move in preparing for the 2024 events of the Asian Consulting Group. The schedule includes meetings and engagements related to the Investment and Tax Briefing 2024 (ITB 2024), International Tax and Investment Conference 2024 (ITIC 2024), and the launch of a new book that is aimed towards teaching people how to do business and invest in the Philippines.
Abrea recently released a book titled “Reimagining the World Without Corruption,” where he discusses global issues on corruption, introduces the 3P Framework of Governance, and provides insights on how we can initiate change, starting with ourselves, in the fight against corruption.
This Manila homecoming marks a significant milestone for ACG and Mon Abrea, as they gear up for a dynamic and impactful 2024.
